TRUCK simulator

The Tenstar Truck Simulator features high-end design and stability, with easy assembly and quick commissioning. It offers a realistic, immersive driving experience with professional hardware and life-like graphics, paired with an extensive exercise program and learning tools.

world-class simulation

The Tenstar Simulator delivers a highly realistic training experience that builds muscle memory through guided, hands-on exercises. By replicating real-world conditions, it allows learners to develop essential skills safely and effectively before entering actual environments.

Trainees have the opportunity to practice independently, driving under challenging conditions such as darkness or slippery roads.

LEARNING TOOLS

From basic
to advanced

Our comprehensive curriculum guides students from basic to advanced driving skills. Training begins with simple exercises and gradually increases in difficulty to reflect real-world driving challenges.

The curriculum has been developed in collaboration with experts in vehicle control and safety, and exercises are continuously updated to meet industry standards.

curriculum overview

LONG HAULER

All exercises support both left-hand and right-hand driving

TRANSMISSION BASICS

Learners are introduced to the long hauler’s manual transmission system. This includes understanding non-synchronous transmissions, gear ratios, and double-clutching techniques. Trainees familiarize themselves with the layout of a 10, 13, or 18-speed gearbox.

Exercises – 3

GEAR SHIFTING PRACTICE

Exercises focus on mastering gear changes, both stationary and while driving. Students practice shifting up and down gears, using the clutch effectively, and maintaining control at various speeds. Unlimited practice distance allows for thorough skills development.

Exercises – 3

TRAILER HANDLING AND MANEUVERING

Trainees learn to safely couple and uncouple trailers and practice driving with a trailer attached. Key tasks include navigating obstacle courses, performing precise turns at intersections, and reversing into designated areas while maintaining trailer alignment.

Exercises – 3

DRIVING IN ADVERSE CONDITIONS

Training covers handling the long hauler in challenging environments. Exercises simulate slippery roads, skidding, jackknife scenarios, and limited visibility due to weather. Learners gain practical experience in adapting speed and control to maintain safety.

Exercises – 3

FREE DRIVING AND SCENARIO SIMULATIONS

Students engage in open-ended driving exercises on country roads and urban streets. These sessions include practicing standard driving techniques, adjusting to traffic, and adapting to different weather and lighting conditions for comprehensive readiness.

TRUCK WITH TRAILER

All exercises support both left-hand and right-hand driving

INTRODUCTION OF TRUCK

Trainees familiarize themselves with the truck’s structure and components. Maintenance exercises teach how to inspect the vehicle, identify potential faults, and perform necessary repairs, ensuring readiness before driving.

Exercises – 3

EXERCISES WITHOUT TRAILER

Students practice operating the truck without a trailer in various environments. Key tasks include reversing up to cargo bays, unloading in urban areas with pedestrians and traffic, and completing a 25-kilometer suburban route to build concentration and endurance.

Exercises – 3

EXERCISES WITH TRAILER

These exercises focus on trailer management and precision. Trainees navigate slalom courses, reverse trailers into tight spaces, and practice docking trailers at 45-degree angles. Longer tasks, such as transporting goods on country roads, test endurance and adaptability.

Exercises – 3

ECO DRIVING

Students learn to optimize fuel efficiency through guided exercises. Basic eco-driving techniques are taught, progressing to long-distance scenarios where trainees must manage fuel consumption without assistance.

Exercises – 3

COMPETITION EXERCISES

Advanced challenges test precision and timing. Drivers navigate obstacle courses and reverse through gated paths with twists and turns, focusing on accuracy and efficiency to minimize penalties.

Exercises – 3

Steering Wheel

The Tenstar Steering Wheel (TSW) has been developed to reflect the aspects of its real life equivalent and to provide the most realistic driving experience possible. The digital dashboard, integrated into the steering wheel, displays crucial information such as RPM, gear, and speed, enhancing the driving experience and training effectiveness.

an optimal classroom

The Tenstar Simulator enables training multiple operators at once, increasing efficiency and reducing wait times. The training facility can accommodate more drivers without needing additional instructors or vehicles.

streamlined administration

Tenstar Management Tool (TMT) enables instructors to track progress at group or class level while highlighting individual achievements. With personal accounts for both students and instructors, TMT summarizes each student’s performance in the simulator, providing an overview of their successes and challenges and supporting tailored training programs for each student.

LEARNING TOOLS

TENSTAR
RECORD & REPLAY

Enables users to replay training sessions in 3D, with features like slow-motion and rotating views. This tool helps users and instructors analyze and prevent mistakes, using a detailed timeline that categorizes errors by severity.

LEARNING TOOLS

TENSTAR
SCORING SYSTEM

Offers real-time performance tracking through scorecards and progress charts, focusing on safety, quality, and economy. It allows instructors to give personalized feedback and guidance for continuous user improvement.
